Katy-Lyn McDermott - Nurse Practitioner

Katy brings over 9+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State University, where she also was a member and 2 year captain of the women’s soccer team. After Salem State, Katy went on to work as a Registered Nurse on a med/surg telemetry floor at Melrose Wakefield Hospital for 4 years. She later received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Regis College’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2015 and then worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for a primary care and cardiology practice in Wakefield, MA. She is also currently working at MetTrimMD, a specialized weight loss clinic, in Newburyport, North Shore, Ma.

Katy is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and is also certified in Botox and dermal filler. In her spare time, Katy loves working out and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their German Shepherd, Sasha.
